Colin’s rich academic career in environmental, scientific and economic studies has him contributing to finding sustainable development solutions over a wide spectrum of sectors. While his experience includes working with a Greens senator at the Australian Parliament and doing community level research in Vietnam. His interests lie specifically in renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable resource management, and community development. On behalf of First Climate, one of the leading carbon asset management companies, Colin is responsible for Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam where he is sourcing and managing a variety of projects for both the carbon compliance regime and voluntary carbon markets, as well identifying and assessing renewable energy projects, and at the same time actively assisting in the capacity building of the carbon community in the Mekong region..
